A reduced pressure zone (RPZ) device prevents backflow into the clean water source to prevent contamination of the general water supply. All homes with an irrigation system are required to have an RPZ and is considered suitable where there is a chance of back pressure and contamination. A RPZ prevents both back pressure and back siphonage. They are required to be tested and certified annually by an licensed Cross-Connection Control Device inspector due to the risk to the water supply.
We have accredited technicians which can certify your RPZ to ensure you comply with local requirements.
